How can I Help?

Supporting the Canadian Aviation Heritage Centre

Every donor is important
Every gift is important

Volunteering and Membership

The skills of our membership support a multitude of ongoing needs. A few of the areas in which Volunteers are always welcome to help in our aviation Centre:

· aircraft construction (engineering, woodworking, metalworking, etc.);
· administrative support (everything from cataloguing to bookkeeping to translation);
· building construction (drywalling to stone masonary and more).

Donation of Funds, Services and/or Materials

We have received funds as small as a child's nickel to cheques for over $10,000. For major financial contribution, we have a gift range chart:

Platinum***** $10,000+
Gold**** $5,000 - $9,999.99
Silver*** $1,000 - $4,999.99
Bronze** $500.00 - $999.99
Copper* Support-in-kind

Donors at these levels receive tax receipts as well as:

§ Membership to the Canadian Aviation Heritage Centre
§ Their name/company name and logo printed in the biannual newsletter PLANEtalk
§ An engraved plaque on our "Donors and Supporters" wall.

Specific Giving Opportunities

A gift of funds or services can be specified for use towards one or more of the following:

Overall Centre well being

funds donated in this category support work on restoration of the building, or are used to cover some of the overhead costs associated with the operation of the Centre.

Current Aircraft Projects

you may wish to designate an aircraft project for your financial support. Currently they are the

Bleriot XI; the Fairchild FC-2; the Canuck, and the Bolingbroke.

Non-aircraft Artifact Preservation

Help provide the materials needed to preserve the smaller yet no less significant

pieces of our aviation history, such as logbooks and medals and pictures.

Activities and Education

funds donated in this category will be used towards continued Centre participation in,

and creation of, direct educational programs.

Memorial Windows

$500 received towards one of our new windows will be recognized with a plaque by that

window stating the donor's name and the person(s) being honoured.

A Lasting Legacy

Also known as Planned Giving, this option is the future provision of a gift to the

CAHC by means of designating the Centre as a beneficiary in one's Will or life insurance policy.

Support-In-Kind

Manufacturing support in the form of specialized services at the donor's premises (e.g. welding; metal forming; printing, translation etc.) or donations of materials and/or machinery

(hardware; machinery; tools; work benches, office supplies etc.) valued at $500+.
